Dwarven Noble Houses

House Yshim

Butterfly yashimAn upstart house of merchant princes, only two hundred years old. The house patriarch, Alad-al-Yashim, died fifty years ago, after a swift rise to power supported by his fantastic wealth and uncanny skill with bond markets. His five sons and three daughters are equally capable, and house Yshim will soon be the wealthiest dwarven house if these trends continue.

House Abbasid

Lion abbasidThe oldest and largest house, and the one most closely tied with the elves. They have been at many points the most powerful political force in the city, but have been brough down recently by a string of infighting and inheritance squabbles.
